Do you have a MySpace, Facebook, or other online profile?

Sure you want to be social or fit in with everyone else, but you are giving up your anonymity!  People often search these things and find relevant information relating to you including pictures and other information.  They will contact your friends and social engineer them into giving out information on your where-abouts and your phone number.  In this day of age, even police and news reporters turn to MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Hi5, and every other popular social network out there in hopes of finding you.  Even if you don’t have recent pictures or information, these sites record your IP address and they can find where you last logged in from.

Do yourself a favor and ask yourself if having a social profile such as one of these is right for your situation.
